The great Eli Wallach has passed away.  1915-2014

:(

He'll be forever known for his role as Tuco in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly but he's definitely had a long and prolific career.  I actually haven't seen too terribly many of this films but one I really enjoy is A Cold Night's Death, a creepy made-for-TV movie from '73:

RIP, Mr Wallach.  Bluesad

Odd: I saw Keeping The Faith over the weekend (he plays the friendly Rabbi in this) and I was wondering how he was.

Adios, Calvera and Tuco. Give my Dad a hug when you see him - he always loved your movies.  Bluesad

Sad news.  ELI WALLACH had a good long life and a remarkable career.  I just recently watched THE MISFITS again and mentioned to a friend that of the film's principles, he was the only one left.  Good night, ELI

I kinda did a tribute to Tuco weekend before last, when my character was supposed to make the sign of the cross rather sloppily...

One of the true greats.  He could convincingly play almost any kind of role.  Tuco means a lot to me.
