I enjoyed the hell out of this. I did like the first one a little more but this was great in it's own ways.

Rather liked it.  However, I still find problems with Asylum and scale.  Creatures are quasi-forgivable, however, Tara Reid losing a hand that then becomes here entire hand and forearm is kind of bothersome in my opinion.  Oh well, otherwise I laughed quite a bit and enjoyed myself.  The fact that the movie had Al Roker and Matt Lauer saying Sharknado was worth the price of admission.  Many other great parody moments and the movie just enjoying itself was great fun.  I haven't seen many bad movies lately and it was great to have a moment with an Asylum movie.

I was also thrown by Vivica.  Something about her face bothered me.

Twas fun. I liked the opening segment the best, but all in all it was good time.
It may have set new records for number of product placements and cameo appearances.
Most ludicrous line in the movie was Tara Reid saying "I got an idea".  TeddyR

Could Tara Reid be the next MACHINE GIRL??

Absolutely, with her range of emotional expression any type of role is a possibility.

Things I learned from SHARKNADO 2:

... New York City sewer alligators are no match for Sharknado sharks.

...There are giant tanks of highly explosive Freon at the top of the Empire State Building, just .... well, just because.

...It's not a good idea to name your airline after the town in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and "Halloween III." Bad luck will follow.

...the New York Mets have a great sense of humor for allowing their ballpark and trademarks to be used/abused in this manner. I'm a Yankee fan, but ... kudos!

...Matt Lauer has Ninja level shark-slaying skills.

Had a full-fledged Sharknado festival for the kids last night.  They enjoyed it a lot.  I need to see it again, but at present I also think that I like the original a little bit better.  It was fun trying to catch the numerous cameos; Al Roker alone was incredibly funny for some reason.

Accidentally making the problem worse by setting the flying sharks on fire was pretty funny.  The kids and I have made up silly weapons, which include guns that shoot sharks and flaming cats at people.  So, the flying, flaming sharks made Jenna, Andy, and Garrett laugh like crazy.

We also noticed that the hand become an entire forearm at some point, but in light of the rest of the movie - decided that trying to complain about that was ridiculous.

Last year when The Asylum was taking fan suggestions for a sub-title for "Sharknado 2" via Twitter and Facebook, my 11 year old said they should use flaming sharks, because "the only thing cooler than sharks falling from the sky, is sharks falling from the sky ON FIRE."  Needless to say, he was thrilled when fiery sharks started raining down on Manhattan last night!! We'll obviously watch it but I feel like I hate it with genuine hate, I hate it so badly it's not funny anymore. What the f**k is the point in an INTENTIONALLY BAD MOVIE THAT IS HIGHLY PUBLICIZED. When I saw this mass of shark films in 2012 I thought "what the hell are these guys doing", presumably looking for what sharknado 2 has achieved.
