I saw this at the Orpheum last Saturday.

The book of Mormon is exactly what it sounds like, a heart warming tale about the Mormon Church spreading its word from door to door trying to unite the world under the caring love of Jesus Christ...

...Nah I'm f**kin' with ya.
This was written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, you know, the South Park guys. Yeah NOW you know what it's about.
It's basically Matt and Trey wiping their ass with the Book of Mormon (again).

The play definitely had that South Park feel to it, being unbelievably crude but still having that hint of subtly. If you happen to not care for that type of humor or you happen to hold the Mormon belief very dear, don't see this play ever. But for everyone else I suggest you see it if it's ever played in your hometown.

Cannibal is superb.  I love it.

I'd assume a retail version would pop up either on Amazon or Matt & Trey's site soon enough.

A big part of my enjoyment stems from my own atheism and distaste for religion.

Political Incorrectness Alert!

I don't care for religion but respect people that are religious as long as they don't use their faith as a flimsy justification spreading pain and bigotry.
