Deal with devil, million dollar bill and an icy pole

During the early 80's, perhaps, a movie screened on Australian TV about a man who made a deal with the Devil.  A few scenes show him walking around the streets of what I assume is New York with the Devil, who gives him a one million dollar bill because he wished for a million dollars.  Another wish involved a raspberry icy pole, which was also instantly given to him.

I do not remember much else about this movie, except that it may have been a 50's movie, and may have been in black and white, or faded colour.  My memory suggests that the Devil was wearing a dark suit.  Any ideas?
