Cthulhu for president! Why choose the lesser evil?

« on: September 29, 2014, 03:51:26 AM »

I've watched a fair amount of Japanese goofiness, both live action and animated, but this... is beyond me. Has anyone made it to the end without chemical help?

It is on youtube, of you've got a couple of hours to lose.

Absolutely! Not only did I make it to the end I gave it a long writeup: http://366weirdmovies.com/31-funky-forest-the-first-contact-naisu-no-mori-the-first-contact-2005/. Shunichiro Miki's segments are the best ones. He came out with a "sequel" that has yet to be released in America:

I wouldn't mind if there were more scenes like the ones in the trailer in Funky Forest. It is the endless scenes of women squabbling in a bathhouse that get me down.

I really liked that Funky Forest sequence with the badminton player [I think].  I'm so happy that there is a sequel!  I'll have to try and find that beast.
