Someone at work mentioned the year Gojira was made.
I looked it up: The release date was May 7th.
If films had 'birthdays', would they be when filming started (Conception) or when they hit the theaters?

Juuuuust asking.
My Parents were married in 1954.
Godzilla was released over here in 1956, the year I was born.
Coincidence? Bwa-hahahahaha!...

Nine months after it was conceived;  I think that's how it usually works.

I would say when filming wraps. (uh, I think that's probably the first time I've ever said "wraps" in that context)

'cause some movies are not released to cinema/dvd etc till a few years after they were made.
