any fellow fans here?
shotime has commissioned a limited series of 9 episodes, written and directed by david lynch and mark frost.
it will NOT be a reboot,it will be a continuation of the original series,WHHHOOOHHHOOO!!!
rumor has it that kyle will come back as dale,no word on anyone else yet.
could be problematic,as ray wise is now on the young and the restless, and madchen amick is on witches of east end.
set to film next year, and be shown in 2016.
david,i love you,but did you REALLY have to make me wait the whole 25 years???? p**sant!   hot

Yeah, I'm a fan (though mainly just of season 1). Didn't post the news because I didn't think there were a lot of other fans here. I do now Mofo is a fan. Personally, I'm trying to keep my expectations low. Plus, I don't have Showtime, so I'll probably wait for DVD---you guys can tell me if it's worth it before I dive in.  Wink

I was a fan, at least, for the first few episodes.

Considering that some people thought that Lynch stretched the original series more than one episode too far, so that the series story did not work, as well as it should have,  that this one is limited to 9 episodes, with the story began, told, and ended within those episodes, is probably all to the good.

I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan, both seasons.

I hate to be a cynical, but I have always loved how they left it and think it would be best just to leave it alone.

I mean, i know it would be better than most things on tv now, but at the moment I think its pretty perfect (IMO).

I have read that it will be shot on film though, so that has made me slightly less worried.
