Danger 5 is an amazing show.

Now on Hulu for those who access it.  Season 2 is out now in Australia if you watch on SBSOnline

WATCH IT!!!

Season 1 had a cheap b-grade WWII aesthetic, kind of like a mix between Get Smart, Thunderbirds, Ultraman and more! [with a touch of Garth Marenghi's Dark Place surreal crazy.]

Season 2 now has an 80s feel.  Words cannot describe how much I love this show.

Both involve so much crazy I can't describe it here properly.

Oh yeah! That's great!

I'm pretty sure I read something about this. Is an episode set at a high school where Hitler is posing as a student? I guess I have something else to add to my queue.

Yeah season 2 just came out here so it may be a bit longer to get to the U S of A.  The second episode had him posing as a student in an 80s styled American high school and trying to become prom king.

Funny you say Japan.  I forgot to mention that this is by the some of the same people responsible for "Italian Spiderman" which naturally is a rip off of Italian 60s/70s rip offs and similar, like the Japanese Spiderman.

Especially funny since it's an Australian production.

Trailer here:

Full version available on Vimeo in the link below [you can even download a copy to keep for free so that's nice].  I know I'm pushing this stuff alot, but man I really enjoy what these folks are releasing.  Its just so super ridiculous.

Did not realize it was by the "Italian Superman" guys. Just goes to show that viral videos CAN lead to bigger things!

Combine the Aussie sense of humor with too much anime...yeah, I can see that.

Watched the first two episodes and I was pleased. Episode 1 had Hitler creating a mega-Hitler out of monuments stolen from across the world. Episode 2 had a "Land of the Lost" feel to it with Mengele training dinosaurs to be used as weapons. Favorite character is Ilsa. I wonder if anyone has compiled all the drink recipes? It would make a nice companion booklet.

It's now on Netflix if you have it, which I just discovered.

Thanks! Now I can see the last three episodes. Hope they'll get season 2.

In the past few days I've gobbled up this show via Netflix.  LOVE this.  I haven't seen season two yet, but kind of wish they stuck with the '60s vibe instead of going with an '80s theme, but maybe I'll like it when I see it.

Also, their website is cool and has the Youtube "prequel" --

One of my friends recently showed me this series. It was so low grade and so unapologetic in its glorification of b-movies that I couldn't help but love it! Not only best B-Grade TV Show in years, but I think it's the best TV series in years considering every one these days is either a reality show or some gritty drama. We needed something fun and Danger 5 was our answer.  Smile
