A metascore of 1 with 9 critics giving it a perfect zero  BounceGiggle

I think I will continue to ignore this franchise.

Just reading about these movies put me off watching them. Even one day at work when someone brought in the first one and put it on in the crew room, I just found other things to do than go in and watch it. I know I am judging something I've never actually watched (ok to be fair I did that with the whole 50 shades thing, so its not an isolated incident).

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here watched it and thought it was a good movie? I guess to have 3 films so far someone out there must like it. I've just not came across anyone who did.

The first one I haven't seen.  I watched some of the second one.  It was just a bunch of, "Okay, what's the most disgusting and offensive thing we could possibly do?" crap.  It wanted to be infamous but it was just kind of pathetic.

Theres a thread, and some of the folks here didn't mind the first one...

Personally I had to add this series to "stuff I don't want in my head"

I never had any interest in this franchise, and not even because it's desperate shock value - it's because they subtitled it "The First/Second/Third Sequence"
It should be SEGMENT, dammit! Centipedes are comprised of segments! NOT Sequences!

Yeah, I'm that person.

I watched the first one and I enjoyed it.  Yes it's wrong, but what type of horror movie isn't?  Is it really that different from the torture porn of Hostel.  I started watching the 2nd one, but turned it off.  The director tried to go "over the top" with it and it showed with how bad it was, and I have the feeling that #3 is going to be more of the same.

I saw this among the listings on Amazon prime and couldn't believe it. The first one takes a creepy idea and does nothing with it beyond "butts taste icky", the second (which I declined to even watch, by the way) does nothing beyond "I saw'd a movie, I copy lulz!" rehash. I didn't read the summary out of sheer lack of interest in how many directions they won't take the idea beyond "look, isn't it yucky!"

Also, someone one my site commented, "Three people means it’s a mere dodecapede." Didn't think about it that way but he/she's correct.

Count me among the people who hated the first one and has no interest in the second or third.

Actually, as there are two pairs of extremities per "segment", it's a diplopode, not a centipede.

Thanks for making me look up "diplopode," but you are correct, too.

Who would have guessed that we could find so many flaws in the HUMAN CENTIPEDE series? That's three mistakes in the title alone!

The way this lexical divergence turned out, I love all of you.

my question for that is WHY? he does like 50 movies a year now why this one?

I liked the first. Haven't gotten around to the sequels yet. Eventually.
