They've begun to discuss what shape  the sequels are going to start taking place.  The movies will take more of an overarching storyline and be less self contained like the first set of movies (The Showa Jurassic Park films-if you will)

Also, the films will apparently be done with the dinosaurs chase people on an island approach and deal with the application of the technology that created the dinosaurs.   This could involve them being bred as weapons as JW suggested or that other companies will try to create their own genetic creatures.

JW2 is planned for 2018-which means its going up against the sequel to Godzilla.  That's going to be a great summer for me.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

It's a great summer blockbuster, but not much different from all the other Jurassic Park movies. If you like the others then you will like this. I enjoyed the actors and dinosaurs, well worth the watch.

I think it's OK - Semi-good... almost there.

See, they got the entertainment and spectacularity right, but they couldn't hide how many of the characters / scenes were cloned / "inspired" from the previous films.

So in my book they get a B for trying so hard, but they'd better move the series towards new territory if they plan more sequels, because I can't think of them being any exciting if they stick to this pattern.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Still, it has inspired a sequel. Though, you'll have to wait till 6/22/18 to see it. So much for originality. Though, originality seems to count for little at the box office, which is probably why we get so many sequels.

And, oh yes. If one is in the Orlando (Florida) area, then stop by Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando, as Jurassic Park is scheduled to get some updates and enhancements.
