Normally, I don't consider megabudget blockbusters to get much better than "well, it passed the time" but this one had me thinking buying the DVD eventually might be a good idea. There isn't much to say really, given this film is actually very well known by now.

Yeah, it's a great flick. When Ledger's on screen it's hard to take your eyes off of him. He's that good. And the movie has a great film noirish look and feel to it too.

Yep, it's a great movie. Any flick that holds my attention for two and a half hours is definitely doing something right.  TeddyR

I just revisited "Batman Begins" over this past week and am thinking of getting "Dark Knight" off the shelf soon for another spin as well.

I was underwhelmed by the third and final Nolan Batman film ("Dark Knight Rises") though, I really didn't dig that one much at all.

When The Dark Knight Rises was released theatrically, I went with a friend to a marathon screening of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.  Even though I had seen the first two many times individually, watching them all consecutively on the big screen was one of the best cinematic experiences of my life.

I could barely stop talking about it.  It was like I was a kid and had just seen Star Wars in the cinema, and those of you who experienced that will know what I'm talking about.  To have an emotional experience like that as jaded filmgoing adult was utterly delightful.

Meh, I just thought this movie was dumb.  It was a lot better than Batman Begins, anyway.

It's really a terrific film.

People crapped all over the casting of Ledger until it came out and proved them all wrong.

I really hated it.

Frankly, I don't think Ledger made a good Joker at all.  He made a good VILLAIN, but that guy never really felt like the Joker to me.

I never understood what was up with Two-Face either.  he's going to go crazy and kill everyone EXCEPT the person that disfigured him and ruined his life.  What was that all about?

Dent doesn't kill everyone.  He does flip his coin a few times.  Dent's kinda odd like that.

I'd have to rewatch it, though.
