This is a list dedicated to the best singers/vocalists in music. You may be wondering why I separated the two terms. The reason is because I've heard that you use the term of a singer to describe someone who can actually sing whereas a vocalist is some person making noise (be it yelling, growling or anything in between) into a mic.

You can also post as many as you wish.

Without further delay:

#1 - Freddie Mercury (Queen)

We haven't done one of these in a long time. Should be fun.

2. Tom Waits - no voice like it.

4. Louis Armstrong. Another gravelly-voiced singer. Musically he's more significant as an instrumentalist and jazz pioneer, but his voice is iconic (and wonderful).

11. Bobby McFerrin. Forget "Don't Worry Be Happy", no one can do the things with the human voice he does.

13.Hank Williams-I dont know if you ever had to hitchhike cross country-I did when I was sixteen-and I had one of those eight track players with a handle on it-it was red! took batteries-I had two tapes-Molly Hatchet and Hank Williams. From Michigan I ended up in a roundabout way in upstate NY after 2 days.
