Quote
The skull of director Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, best known for vampire classic Nosferatu (1922), has disappeared from his grave in Stahnsdorf, outside of Berlin, German media reports said citing authorities.

The skull was found missing on Monday and was believed stolen due to slight damage to the grave. The theft is thought to have taken place between July 4 and July 12.

I'm picturing some wanna-be director with this skull on his desk as a 'muse' of sorts.  Or a charm.  Perhaps he'd be hoping it might function as 'Bob' did for Harry Dresden - impart some arcane knowledge or perform some magic.

Murnau was an occultist, so I would guess other occultists were responsible.

Does that make it religious 'thing'?  I'm afraid I am a bit behind on ritual disinterment.
