Blue shapeshifter Alien

Hi there,

I'm trying to remember of a movie that has a blue shape-shifter alien, just in the opening scenes film his ship lands on earth then leaves a faceless blue alien then he looks at a billboard and becomes the model of advertising.

anyone remember that one?

Sounds like Critters (1986).

Or Critters 2.  Both of them have a shapeshifter alien who takes several forms over the course of the film, because he can't decide on a look he likes.
