Show clips if you can!
HALLOWEEN H20 (which was surprisingly decent, if not particularly scary)

I just watched parts 2, 3, 4 and 5. I don't know if it's my favorite, but I think the small bit in V where he removes his mask for Jamie actually works.  Weak movie, but there's a few decent bits in it.

Also, I have to say Danielle Harris doesn't get enough credit - she's convincing in EVERY scene in parts IV and V.  I'd actually put her up there with Henry Thomas as one of the best child actors from the 80s.

Also, on another random note, it's interesting watching Halloween films after recently watching Friday the 13th.  Friday the 13th is clearly...  More crass, less classy.  At least through Halloween part V (Curse of Michael Myers I'm fuzzy on, been a long time).  They have way less gore (seriously, there's almost none), and are visibly more polished.  People seem to consider them interchangeable, but even though IV is just alright and V is kinda weak, the first four Michael Myers (let's ignore III, though most of the same applies) films are quite distinct in numerous ways from Friday the 13th, and most other 80s slasher films.  They try to go with the general feel of the mold the first film made, and while they don't succeed fully (none of the other directors are John Carpenter, nor do they have the spartan but effective scripting), they still have traces of the atmosphere - buoyed by strong reuse of the great original score.

^ True, folks who love the F13 flicks just want to see gore and butchery, whereas there's more story in the Halloween films (though some of the story lines are pretty stupid).  1, 2 and H20 are the films I will watch and pretty much none other in the Halloween series.  HALLOWEEN RETURNS is planned for a 2016 release.  The main plot device will be that Michael is on death row and escapes.  Eh, I'll probably rent it.

I freaked out like a little girl seeing a spider when I first saw this death scene in Halloween II (keep in mind I was in my early teens):

^Probably not the ending the producer wanted-- there was one in which Michael (I guess?) kills Loomis offscreen as you hear him screaming.  Another had Michael kill Dr. Wynn and swap clothes.  Michael walks out the door as Wynn, with his dying breath, tells Loomis he is now infected with the Thorn curse and is charged with watching over Michael or something.
Producer's alternate ending:

I just watched 6 and H20.  Funny watching them in a row, H20 is a huge improvement, but is still just decent.  6 is laughably bad.  It's also incredibly 90s, in look, editing style, etc.  H20 is also sort of 90s, but not quite as extremely so.

Favorite moment of H20: the axe chop that ends it.  The opening of Halloween: Resurrection is the worst example of retconning in film history, as far as I'm concerned.  Just ludicrous.
