Over-the-top independent cyborg movie with crazy effects

It's recent, it looks crazy as heck, and I can't remember the title! I know it was touched on briefly within these forums but I couldn't find the topic even after plumbing the depths of both Good, Bad, and Press Release for the past year. The effects work in the trailer was largely practical and I'm pretty sure a cyborg was involved if not full robots.

I have a sad suspicion that I might even have made the topic in question, yet it didn't show up in a search either. Am I going bonkers?

That's exactly it. Sorry for the vague description, my brain held onto almost nothing coherent from the trailer since I originally saw it, just what I was able to glean from fragmented memory. It's a real fever dream of sequences. thanks!
