Rubber Monsters > CGI Monsters

« on: November 14, 2015, 11:15:07 AM »

Hey guys! I was inspired by Metropolisforever's name that movie with pictures thread, and I wanted to do a TV show one!

The game is simple. I will post a picture of a TV show, and someone has to guess what it's from. The person who guesses correctly gets to post a picture, and the pattern continues.

Rules:

No cheating! I know of many ways to cheat with identifying images, which I won't mention. I would like it for this game to be as honest as possible, if you know what I mean.

If people are having trouble getting your image right, give them a hint. It can be subtle or a dead giveaway. Just a small clue might help.

That's it for rules. Nothing much, just simple.

I'll start with this image,

Yes and no - I'll give it to you though...

It's Taron from Space Giants TV show. But - the model is a modified Agon suit.

Your photo - I'm stumped, any more hints?

The show it was in was created by NET, and Tsuburaya Productions (the creators of Ultraman).

Tough one. I have been researching though...

I'm down to Redman and Mirrorman - for the show that is.

Actually, it's neither.

This may or may not give it away, but the end of the show's title contains a ten code.

Show was created on July 3, 1972.

The title of the show has a ten code at the end of it.

The show was produced by NET and Tsubaraya Productions.

For the show's title, the ten codes are made to mean "OK, goodbye".

The show had a total of 26 episodes.

The main character is named "Mori Haruhiko".

The monster in the picture is nicknamed "Half-Fish, Half-Man".

The monster was in the 13th episode of the show.

Great job!

Now your picture...

I think it was from a TV show called "Monsters", that I used to watch a long time ago but I'm not sure what the character was called. I'll look for the name.
