I really wish I could be mopre excited for this but ... I just can't.  DC has been doing such a terrible job with their movies, making them so grim and overly serious.  it's just not what I'm looking for in Superhero movies.

The only way I'd see this movie was if it was about five seconds long and consisted of Superman throwing Batman into space.  The End.

I was thinking...

Superman's the laser-shooting, nearly invincible, super-strength, blah, blah, blah man of steel.

Batman's a trained hero who has no powers, but he uses smart techniques and inventions to stop his foes.

Logically, one poke from Superman, and buh-bye Batman.

Unless if it's this version:

! No longer available Small | Large

Then Superman would get BIFFed!

It's not only their films. Have you seen their most recent comics? As grim as Marvel's comics may or may not be, DC comics are grimmer yet. Still . . .?! It looks like DC/Warner are stepping up their game.

The Flash
Gotham
Super girl

have all been renewed for a 2nd season on TV. And film wise, we are getting . . .

2016
Suicide Squad

2017
a 2-part Justice League, part 1
The Legion of Super Heroes
Wonder Woman

2018
Aqua man
The Flash

2019
The Justice League, part 2
Shazam

2020
Cyborg
Green Lantern Corps

And we'll see, what we'll see!

Doomsday is in Batman/Superman.

I'm wondering if he dies and comes back for Justice League?  All I can say is the Justice League has Aquaman and that makes me chuckle.

I'll keep the Avengers.  They have a Hulk. BounceGiggle

that grey monster thing - is not Doomsday.

I HOPE NOT. They could have done SOOO much better!

anyway - that new trailer leads me to believe it's a 'General Zod abomination'

Only time will tell

Pretty terrible trailer, and on top of everything else it gives away the entire plot.  The teasers were way more interesting.

Also, yes, Doomsday's look is super generic.  He has that same generic face and facial shape going to the LOTR cave troll (where it worked better).  Abomination, the turtles in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, etc.  I dunno.

Doomsday is in the movie.  Is that him? Who knows.

I hate Superman.

I'm generally open to see this strictly for Batman.

I gotta say, I'm generally more a Marvel fan, and I can't wait for Civil War and Doctor Strange next year.

I'm more looking forward to Suicide Squad than Batman V. Superman.   Buggedout

Two words connected with this film puts it into my "Ain't gonna watch this unless I'm in a full body cast and no access to the remote" category: Zach Snyder.

And, yes, I sat through his self-important crapfest called "Man of Steel".

I wonder if they'll make Superman cry again. "Whaaa! I want an invisible plane like Wonder Woman! Whaaa!!!"

Sorry. I'll show myself out.
