Hi there. I'm a Dallas based filmmaker & writer (not always in that order) and B movies are my happy place.
I love to watch terrible films as I edit my current projects & say to myself, "I can do better than THAT!"

Of course, I also love to cut video to RoboCop.

I'm primarily a video editor, but right now I'm having to be a one man band to get my projects brought to fruition.
Good to find a community for me. I'm looking forward to sharing a few tips, tricks, and maybe even a few short completed projects.

A good editor is always important to a project.
My first film, NFC - Comfort Zone was full of logistical problems, & wound up straying way off script.
Luckily, we had a brilliant editor who managed to piece it into something downright hilarious.

Welcome, Zombiechow!

I'm a north Texas guy myself. Resident theologian, novelist, and Elder Scrolls junkie.

Glad to have you aboard.

Filmmakers & religical gamers & threeheaded pups, oh my!
Sounds like there's kindred souls hereabouts.
I'm too new to be permitted to share links, but google "New 2 U Apocalypse" to see my latest work.
& forgive the shameless self promotion, but if you like it please do share it.
I'd relish any notes you might have.

...also, I can't send personal messages.
Indiana, tell me more about your novel. You really an archeologist, or will you just throw me the idol if I throw you the whip?

Welcome!

I'm Sprite.  I'm in eastern Iowa.  Hopefully in 4.25 years I'll be one of the resident attorneys on this board.  I like to travel, I've been to 29 states, Ontario in Canada, Turkey, Italy, and Switzerland.  I like both beer and cats.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner.  I have three novels in print (and available in EBook format).  They are THE TESTIMONIUM, THE REDEMPTION OF PONTIUS PILATE, and MATTHEW'S AUTOGRAPH.  I have been an amateur archeologist/artifact collector since I was a small child and have a room full of personally found Indian artifacts here at my house, plus a few odds and ends from overseas that I have bought/traded for.

There was this guy from South Africa named Trevor who tried that: wonder what happened to him?

Howdy, ZombieChow! I didn't see this post before; I'm not here as much as I used to be.
I'm an Ohioian by birth, came here to North Texas in '09 to get away from the awful winters, and to get married.
I think you'll like it here.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Welcome! Central Texas lady here and one of the reasons alandhopewell came to Texas. Please pull up an easy chair and make yourself at home.
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.
