Kind of watched
HONEYSUCKLE ROSE (1980) on TCM today. It was cool hearing
DYAN CANNON tell her "husband"
WILLIE NELSON that she found half a joint of his and smoked it... she said something like "I don't know how you can smoke this all the time and not want to go to bed with somebody..."
WILLIE, in real life of course, is a well known pothead (bless his heart).
In
THE WOMEN (1939)
NORMA SHEARER tells her friends that it's okay to eat her bread because "it's gluten!"
Saw most of
HOLD BACK THE DAWN (1941) which stars
CHARLES BOYER,
OLIVIA DeHAVILLAND,
PAULETTE GODDARD... and spotted
BRIAN DONLEVY in a bit part near the beginning - with no lines, uncredited. Also,
VERONICA LAKE playing a movie actress in one scene where she has quite a few lines but is uncredited in that bit part!
