So, mom went out and got a puppy!

Another shi-tzu (she has one already) only five weeks old.  Had him for two days now, and we've decided to name him Cody (which is good cause it's harder to yell at something that doesn't have a name.)  We're still in the process of trying to potty train him.  Right now he's following us around, that or our other dog, Tucker.  Tucker doesn't seem to care for Cody much, every time Cody gets near, Tucker wonders off.  Seriously, I placed him on the couch Tucker was resting, and he got up, jumped off, walked across the room and jumped over to another couch.

Cute as he is, he's testing my patience a bit.  Mom works during the day, so I'm watching him for now.  I can't stand the whimpering he makes when he's left in the cage, so I don't keep him in it.  So far today though, he's pooped on the floor in various spots about four times, despite all the times I've let him out.  (sigh)
If it's not that he climbs ups the stairs to follow Tucker, and then, being too small to climb down, he sits there and whines piteously until I'll come up and get him.  He's done that about six times today.

But, hopefully we'll get that all ironed out.

Yeah, he needs the hair in front of his eye trimmed a bit.

Well, the pet (not to mention the breed) wasn't up to me. For the record, I like both cats and dog, they each have their advantages.  Dogs you can take on walks and which will get you the attention of cute babes (what, you think I do it cause I like the exercise?  Hell no!) and they're glad to see you when you come in (at least, SOME breeds are).

Cats though, tend to smell nicer, and make that relaxing purring sound when ya pet them.  Plus cats are also funnier in pictures for some reason.  (Seriously, check out that LOL site you'll see tons more cats than dogs, something about cats just lend themselves to silly pictures more.)
