Law School: In the s**t's getting real now phase

I'm now reaching the s**t's getting real now phase with law school.  I got my school email account and the account for the online learning system.  I got my parking pass.  Got the financial aid stuff taken care of.  Now I'm ordering text books and other materials. 

I'm nervous but also excited that I'm about to do this thing.

Start reading as soon as possible! Law school is all about reading, reading, reading, case after case. By the time you leave you'll figure out how to read/skim them fast and get the essence of them very quickly. I used the colored highlighter technique to highlight the ruling, rules of law and essential facts. Good luck.

Good luck! I'm currently completing Masters number 2 and it's insanity, though it's not law. Shame that the computers are already gunning for your jobs though!

My first law school text book arrived in the mail today.  Getting excited now.

As a movie fan I'm sure you will enjoy United States v. Syufy Enters., 903 F.2d 659, 661 (9th Cir. 1990). I'm sure you will encounter Lason v. State soon enough.
