Some people complained that it was more Jason Bourne than James Bond; to an extent, I agree.  But it was also an excellent way to bring the Bond character into the current age.

I think Jason Bourne movies seemed too similar to the movies that rip-off from the Die Hard movies in the 1990's... I do agree there is a lot of similarities with Daniel Craig version of James Bond with the Jason Bourne movies. Sure a Jason Bourne like James Bond flick would be an awesome one time movie... Although in some ways I think Timothy Dalton's 'Licence to Kill' is like a pre-Jason Bourne flick. But it seemed like every Daniel Craig James Bond movie is a Jason Bourne rip-off.

Right now I'm more excited to see another Kingsman movie a Daniel Craig's James Bond flick.

Running counter to some opinions here, I very much enjoyed Daniel Craig's take on James Bond.  He brings an extreme physicality and intensity to the role that was lacking from his predecessors.

Timothy Dalton in Licence To Kill played Bond as he should be played: as a cultured animal. I could never see Sir Roger Moore, Sir Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan setting fire to a petrol soaked bad guy  Buggedout Buggedout

I think that Daniel Craig was brought in to do Casino Royale as a sort of "Bond Begins" in the same sort of "take it seriously" style as Batman Begins. I think he does it well, but it might not be the Bond style you are looking for.

For sheer "badness", I don't think View to a Kill can be topped.

i would also have to go with the 67 casino royale, it is hilariously bad! and the actors were just having TOO much fun being as campy as possible, i loved it!

Here are some of the credited actors who appeared in the film.

A: Woody Allen -- Ursula Andress
B: Gregory Bayldon -- Jean-Paul Belmondo -- Jacqueline Bisset -- Barbara Bouchet -- Charles Boyer
C: Ronnie Corbett -- Bernard Cribbins
H: William Holden -- John Huston
K: Kurt Kaszner -- Deborah Kerr
L: Daliah Lavi
N: David Niven
P: Joanna Pettet
Q: Anna Quayle
R: George Raft
S: Peter Sellers
W: and Orson Welles

And, as in the case of How the West Was Won, you can make a pretty good film out of those actors who appeared in the film, without being credited. For this film some of them include . . .

Geraldine Chaplin -- Valentine Dyall -- Ian Hendry -- Angelica Huston -- Burt Kuwok -- John Le Mesurier -- Stirling Moss -- Caroline Munro -- Peter O'Toole -- and Mona Washbourne.
