one of those situations where I feel like the trailer is enough. I get a slight 'Wizard Of Gore' vibe from it - and that had a great trailer but turned out to be a boring film (imo)

surprised it's as late as 76. I assumed late 60s/early 70s for some reason...

It's kinda the "What if John Waters made a splatter film?" things. You really have to be in the right frame of mind, but, yeah, it is pretty freakin' funny. I even made a video that referenced that movie as remake material for Peter Dinklage.

Trying to describe this movie to people is like trying to describe a fever dream.  You just can't make it make sense to people.  Let's face it.  It's got a Z-grade Vincent Price wannabe, the midget with an afro, and their cage of naked cannibal ladies.

I do have a real soft spot for it.  It's one of the movies that gave me my reputation for having horrible taste in movies among my old friends.

This movie was all the rage in the mid 80's amongst my friends at school.  "The guy throws darts and the woman's butt!  And he drills a hole in someone's head and sucks his brains out with a straw!"  Just the descriptions grossed me out, and I couldn't understand how such a dreadful-sounding movie could be made.

Even now, it's a movie I prefer to avoid.  Splatter movies don't do much for me at all, and being a grimy-looking Z-grade movie from the 70's gives it that extra bit of ick.

This was the weirdest movie our local video store had so I would watch it all the time along with Alien's Deadly Spawn. It was clearly intended to push the limits of decency and succeeded with flying colors.

The director made a movie called the Career Bed that SWV carries it's great and while sleazy not remotely as over the top.

Watching this movie made me feel uncomfortable the entire time, therefore they got it right. Exploitation films should make you feel the targeted emotions hard. Buggedout
