he played tor johnson in the ed wood movie with johnny depp, as well as being one of my favorite wrestlers when i was a youngun!

Heck! I remember that scene from the film.

That's the film that earned Martin Landau a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi.

My favorite scene from the film is where Ed Wood (Johnny Depp) meets Orson Welles (Vincent D'onofrio) and probably the worst director in Hollywood at that time meets the best director in Hollywood and they discuss the subject of making a film. One of those scenes that never happened, but should have happened.
