The "Bad Movie Bible" topic got me thinking about the worst films of my country. Obviously, the US industry dominates the stage for the worst movies, but I wonder about the status in other countries. Most "worst" German films I can think of were produced for TV, so I wouldn't consider them here. My personal favorite is "Staplerfahrer Klaus", but that's a short film (here, if you want:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjtFxsPcrhI). For feature films I had to go to imdb and look for the lowest scores. I found three candidates, two of which have once even lead the bottom line-up. I am ashamed to admit that I have not seen any of them.

German Fried Movie (1992)
Well, it's an early one by Uwe Boll. I leave it at that.

Daniel der Zauberer (2004) (Daniel the wizard)
Haven't even heard of that one. It exploits the short-lived fame of a "whacky" candidate in a Amierican-Idol-like show here. However, based on the trailer, it definitely classifies as a "worst" candidate.

Kartoffelsalat (2015) (Potato salad)
Sounds generally not bad, as it is about a zombie outbreak in a high school. But apparently it is made by a bunch of "youtubers" representing the most successful channels in Germany and a couple of "Comedians" past their prime. The trailer suggest definitely not a good movie, but I have doubts that it really is the worst we can do.

I am not sure yet if I really should watch them entierly. I'll chicken out and give my ranking based on youtube scraps:
Worst: Uwe
Follow-up: Daniel
So-bad-it-is-bad-but-just-bad-not-worst: the youtubers

Special award for worst title: Kühe, vom Nebel geschwängert (2002) (Cows, impregnated by the mist)

Any thoughts on the worst movies from your country?

Not really my country, but I discovered Weng Weng. He's my favorite Filipino midget James Bond ever! I've only seen For Your Height Only. Impossible Kid and Agent 00 are on the list.

My biggest problem with the idea of an International Bad Movie Bible is that bad films in other countries don't seem to see a lot of distribution. I'm a bit of a purist. I love having a hard copy and bad films from countries other than the US don't seem to have an audience in those countries. They seem to languish in obscurity just because of a lack of a market. It's like the love of bad film is really centered within the US with sparse interest elsewhere.

I love me some Weng Weng. Y'ur Height is easily the most fun because it has the Dick Randall dub, which is all any 1980s foreign language B-movie can hope for. The Impossible Kid has some great stuff in it but the sensible dub holds it back a bit. There's one called D'Wild Wild Weng which is wacky as hell. Weng Weng has to battle an army of midgets in the wild west. He has a buddy with no tongue who can't talk, he can only shriek gibberish. Everyone in the movie acts like it's completely normal. All the Weng Weng movies that are available are genuine so bad they're good gems.

Outside America I think the biggest good-bad movie producing nations are Italy, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Canada and Japan. Indonesia didn't do too badly either (Mystics in Bali, Rambu, Lady Terminator).  I'm British and we can't bring much to the table. Technically Superman IV and Howling II are half British, but I don't think anyone's buying that. The best I can think of is one I found recently: Suffer, Little Children. It's not laugh out loud funny but it's terrible and entertaining.

For British bad movies, what about PSYCHOMANIA? GORGO? FIRE MAIDENS OF OUTER SPACE? SPICE WORLD? Surely Hammer dropped a stinker or two. And wasn't TROG British, even though it starred Joan Crawford? Don't sell your countrymen short!
