Stephen King's It
Small | Large

Look, I loved the mini-series.  But it had flaws.  This seems to take a much darker approach.  At one point it was to be split into 2 films.  I'm not sure if that's still the case, although the look of the trailer focuses on the kids.  I'm sure there'll be a mid-credits or post-credits thing setting up a part 2 for 30 years later.

Might be a rare occasion where the remake is as good as or better than the original.

the original actually scared me as a child, i stopped playing in sewers because of it, which was probably a good thing. when i heard about the remake i rolled my eyes and cursed the hollywood gods again, but the trailer has given my hope. it actually looks good! its hard to imagine pennywise being played by any one other than tim curry, im still not completely sold on the new guy yet. i like that its going to be two parts.  maybe no giant spider monster this time, i dont know if thats good or bad. im looking forward to it though!  "they all float down here".
