Also, the heart of the forum RC said he's done here so that's a factor

RC says he's done here once or twice a year. He's been posting, but only in the "what are you listening to?" thread.

Well bollocks if everyone would make a post a day and create a worthy new topic a week, this place would be bustling.
I tried just that and though you wrote to me, you did not participate in that one thread effort.  Bollocks.

Well you wrote to me privately and invited me to read "...a hundred pages citing movie facts and trivia..."  In any case, you must have had some interest since you had pm'd me.  I do hope you see my point because you hit the nail on the head.

Yeah, I offered that to one person from here at BMDO about a month before I wrote you about it, and then I started thinking others may like to read it, too, so asked around among friends, a co-worker, an intern, no one else at that point from this site except the first person, a few of the people I offered it to are actually in the essay/e-book, whatever you want to call it, you weren't one of the ones I thought of off the bat, to be honest, but when I saw your thread I thought I'd see if you were interested too, since it was close to your topic.

You didn't say yes or no in response when I asked you, just asked why I didn't post on your thread. The belated answer is I guess having written so much about the topic elsewhere I didn't feel like posting there. There are a lot of threads I give a pass; nothing personal.

Actually, while I'm thinking about it, hey, if anyone is interested in reading something I put together in 2015, about my 2014 project of watching more movies in one year than I normally watch in half a decade, complete with movie trivia and factoids and assorted randomness about movies in general, let me know, I'll send you a copy. It's about a hundred pages broken down into individual months, and I admit somehow it strays from my original intent and evolves as much into a memoir of that year of my life, 2014---twelve really strange months, all in all---as it stays a feature on films. PM me if you want a copy.

Good luck with your thread, AHD. It looks like it picked up after a while.

Man, remember when this forum used to be quiet? What happened?  BounceGiggle BounceGiggle

Seriously, any postings from anyone about most anything is good. I mean, why not a thread on whether toilet paper should hang with the end in front or behind. Now THAT is a family-friendly topic.

I'll just hush up now. I think RC is trying to nap.   Cheers

Uhm... blahblahblah... I have long memory, I know when I've been swiped, and I know smoke and mirrors.  Me still love you long time.

2014 is the most important year of my life.  For me, everything changed.
