60. DONNIE DARKO

A mix of 80s hits (my favorite being "Killer Moon" by Echo and the Bunnymen) and original music. This cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World" was the fan favorite:

61. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (1971)

The movie is on TCM at 8pm EST Tuesday night, January 23.
I was never much of a fan of movie musicals, though I'm liking 'em better, this is one I have always liked.  Of course, I own the soundtrack.  If there is one musical stage or screen that I actually love, it's Fiddler on the Roof.

SHAFT certainly belongs, I would have put it up if no one else did. BLADE RUNNER, too, though I might have forgot about it since I don't own it/

70. Batman Forever

Soundtrack is probably better than the movie in this case though.

Back to the Future had a good soundtrack.  I listened to it a while ago on cassette.

Hi Jase!

72. The Harder They Come

I've actually never seen the movie but the soundtrack is legendary and often credited with introducing the world to reggae.

Did you miss a number there, Rev?  (Or did I mess it up?  Starting at BLAZING SADDLES.)
73?. 74?. CABARET (1972)  Another GREAT musical that strangely makes sense with a GREAT score (which was improved, updated, and honored the stage show).

My all time favourite "College" movie and the soundtracks totally killer. pounding, upbeat 80's synth pop mainly alternative New-wave bands but there are some classics buried in there as well (Particularly "Thriller" and "We are the champions") its a soundtrack that I can pop on at any point and just feel good whether im working, hosting or just taking it easy :)
