My mom watches all the variations of L&O.  It's not really my thing, but it's still good enough to keep my attention when I watch it with her.

I love Law and Order and all it's various spin-offs.  I loved Orbach's character, but maintained an interest because I loved Sam Waterston as the lawyer, Jack.

It's rerun on WEtv and Sundance occasionally so I watch reruns.

Of the various incarnations of the show, SVU is my favorite.  Great characters and strong plots all the way.

I particularly loved the first few seasons, especially with Michael Moriarty, and Chris Noth.

However, after about season 7 I lost the love and found it a little long in the tooth. I only hung on because of Jerry Orbach. But even he couldn't make me stay after season 9.

Loved the opening theme tune too
