Not a technical problem, but more of a question really.

I'm a bit of a noob here, but have been having a good read of the many forum threads going back some 10 years or so. I am quite keen to post to some of those older threads, but I just wanted to check with the powers-that-be, that it is okay to do so first?

The reason for my caution is that with some other sites I am a member of, admins and/or mods get rather annoyed with their members updating old posts (although I would argue it is up to them to make them inaccessible by removing r/w abilities or moving them to an archived area)

So is it okay to post to old threads here?

I am not an admin here or anything, but I've seen plenty of thread necromancy going on in the past so I think you'll be ok.

Thank you.

I will look forward to adding "Thread Necromancer" to my CV and any social occasion with friends and lots of alcohoic drinks (in fact I am envisaging myself in a hooded black cloak or gown, breaking open a pub door and announcing to all and sundry - "Hail, the Thread Necromancer has arrived!")

<sorry. Think I've put too much thought into that>

Thanks anyway :)

I don't police thread necromancy. We try to be more laid back than that.

Always remember with necromancy is isn't easy to raise a family. Unless they are all buried together.
