WTF were they thinking when they cast Lon Chaney Jr. in SON OF DRACULA (1942)?
Don't get me wrong-I love Lon-but his jowly Oklahoma corn-fed face didn't look like Dracula.
Or the Mummy in all those 1940's mummy movies? He made an awful husky living corpse.
Apparently Tannis leaves pack a lot of calories.  Wink

what was that movie with the massive killer bunnies? even for a drive in movie, can't believe no one saw that and was like "okay this is really stupid"

Night of the Lepus?
Yes. Apparently, the book it was based on was a comedy. Who decided to turn a satire into a serious sci-fi horror film I know not. More surprising is the fact it was made by MGM, which should've known better. Was MGM that out of touch by the 70's?

OK. Remember EARTHQUAKE (1974)? In the movie Charlton Heston (who at the time was 51) and Ava Gardner (looking a rough 52) were married. Ava Gardner's father in the film was Lorne Greene-who was 59. It was distracting seeing Ava call Greene 'Daddy' when she looked older than him!
On top of that-towards the end Geneviève Bujold, who has been having an affair with Heston, is left behind so Heston can drown trying to save Gardner-who's been a nagging shrew through the whole film!

Agreed: I've never gotten over the fact that (a) Mario Puzo wrote the script and that (b) they crashed into Zsa Zsa Gabor's hedge.  Buggedout Wink

Cool As Ice springs to mind.

They were clearly trying to capitalize on Vanilla Ice and his Ice Ice Baby success. I believe they didn't care that it was bad as long as people paid money to watch it. It was a box office flop but made good money in video rentals. So, in the end the producers got the last laugh  Bluesad

John Wayne's line "Truly this man was the son of God" in the Greatest Story Ever Told.

Likewise John Wayne's role as Ghengis Khan.
