WTF was DeNiro thinking by appearing in DIRTY GRANDPA??? That movie is an atrocity! It was just a bunch of dirty language and frat humor. Stupid.

WTF was Al Pacino thinking with JACK AND JILL ???

Though it looks like they'll be back on  track with Martin Scorses's the IRISHMAN (2018) which will also star Harvey Keitel,
and Joe Pesci!

Do you have any examples of "WTF were they thinking???"

WTF were they thinking when they cast Lon Chaney Jr. in SON OF DRACULA (1942)?
Don't get me wrong-I love Lon-but his jowly Oklahoma corn-fed face didn't look like Dracula.
Or the Mummy in all those 1940's mummy movies? He made an awful husky living corpse.

WTF were they thinking having John Saxon fight Bolo in ENTER THE DRAGON? I mean, s**t-man! That should have been Bruce Lee's big fight scene!

WTF were they thinking when they hired Mike Nichols to direct WOLF (1994)?
He was a director of talky dramas and romantic comedies. They couldn't get Wes Craven or John Carpenter? Bulls**t.
That movie sucked!

What on earth were they thinking when they wrote the screenplay of HIGHLANDER II: THE QUICKENING???
They took everything that was right and good about the franchise and flushed it down the crapper!

I mean, any Hellraiser film post-part 2 has me scratching my head.

Especially like, part 9 where Pinhead is in it for like 5 minutes, top, tacked on, and not even Doug Bradley. Question

Hellraiser: Hellseeker is quite OK, IMO.  Smile

Saxon apparantly thought that he was going to be the big star of that one.
