The sleep of reasoner breeds monsters. (sic)

Tonight I got tricked. Twice.

First my buddy Edie told me we were going to see an Israeli movie, when really she wanted me as a safe sober ride back and even laughed at me for thinking the Jewish center would show a movie on the Sabbath.

Okay, point to her there, that was daft of me.

I told her I'd give her til ten and then I was going home and if she wanted a ride with me, come then.

She called me lame for saying I'd rather be with my family than babysitting her while she drinks, and I pointed out that if Jews aren't supposed to be out watching movies on the Sabbath, just maybe they're not supposed to be out getting drunk either.

Game, set, match to the Gentile.

Anyway, as I waited for her to slurp her overpriced drinks,  I watched what I thought was the pilot to The Big Bang Theory, but instead it was this mind-damaging mirror, mirror Evil Spock level bait and switch "Unaired" BBT pilot wherein Sheldon liked big butt porn and had sex with a colleague at Comic-Con, and instead of Penny there was this unwholesome skank named Katie, and the flat the guys shared (with this awful Katie!!) resembled some sort of cluttered bomb shelter loft.

It was like bizarro alternate dimension Hell.

I clawed at my eyes and screamed to the point Edie asked if someone had slipped me angel dust again.

It's gonna take a hot bath and a lotta chocolate to un-see that horror.

I'd heard the 1st pilot was bad, but I didn't know it was that bad. Thanks for posting this.

Wiat... so the version of Big Bang Theory that aired was actually the good version.

I'm sorry.  That's going to take some time for me to process.

Pilot sounds a lot better than the actual product to me. [shrug]
