Oh, the original creepshow had animated bullies eaten by giant killer plants.

The Tabanga in From Hell It Came (1957) is a kind of tree. It certainly has all the speed of a tree.

And let's not forget that the Thing is technically a plant.

Pacman000

Jumaiji, the 90's version, had plants which shoot poison darts and plant pods which could eat you.

The Lost World (1960) had a giant Venus flytrap, which nearly ate a character.

The Land Unknown also had a man-eating plant.

I've read that Caveman, with Ringo Starr, had a man (or dinosaur) eating plant, tho I've not seen the movie.

It also had Stephan King consumed by inter-stellar moss!
