Rev! Try changing your whole online service provider.
You can get on at your friends- maybe because he has a different service provider. I had to change my s**t lotsa times.
Maybe that will help. I know it's time consuming- but it might work.

Thanks for thinking of me, RC. I'm accessing the site right now through a proxy. But it's inconvenient, not something I want to do everyday. I'll still drop in every now and then.

I miss this place, but what really bugs me is not knowing how this problem came about. I have heard about people not being able to access particular sites before but I followed all the troubleshooting steps I could find and they didn't work. I thought using a public DNS server would work but it hasn't.

I know I'm not being blocked on purpose, first because there's no reason to block me (even accidentally), and second because of the error I'm getting. It's not "access denied", but rather, my computer seems to think the site doesn't exist.

I couldn't do anything if the site got hacked anyway. That's up to Andrew.

I worry that a spammer may come on and not be banned immediately. Or that there will be a ridiculous flamewar that causes mass defections. Those are the worst results I can think of from me not being around.
