this is kind of surprising and sad

Quote
THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA) — Actress Heather Locklear was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of battering a police officer and emergency personnel.

Locklear, 56, was arrested late Sunday night and booked early Monday morning, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. She was held on $20,000 bail and is scheduled to make her first court appearance Tuesday.

According to sheriff’s officials, they responded to her Thousand Oaks home Sunday night to find her heavily intoxicated and arguing with family and friends, before she attacked the deputies and later kicked a medic in the chest.

This is the second time this year the “Melrose Place” actress been arrested. In February, Locklear was also arrested on suspicion for domestic violence and battering a police officer. Just last week, she was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation.

She's the New Zsa Zsa Gabor!   Buggedout

I'm not even stupid enough or drunk enough to hit a cop!
When I get arrested, I turn around and put my hands behind my back.
Because I ain't a celebrity -they'll beat the living daylight out of me. I learned that 1 time- I didn't need a 2nd.
And I didn't even hit the cop- I just mouthed off to him!  Buggedout

My Dad was a former street thug who later became a cop: I don't think he ever saw the weirdness in that.  TeddyR

Seriously, sad news about Heather Locklear.

Totally off topic, but I never figured out how to distinguish Heather Locklear and Heather Thomas....

Heather Thomas was the "Fall Guy" Heather.

Heather Locklear was the "T.J. Hooker"/"Dynasty" Heather.

However, Wiki sez that Locklear made one guest appearance on "Fall Guy." Not sure how I missed that back in the day, it must have been an epic crossover episode. "Clash of the Heathers?"

Or maybe "Too Many Damn Heathers!"   BounceGiggle

Remember that movie HEATHERS (1988)?  Question
I don't think that has anything to do with the conversation on hand, but- they are both HEATHERS, which I think is cool.

I've looked at bits of TJ HOOKER reruns lately.  Agreed.

I never liked it. I never liked ANY TV during the 80s. Except Headbanger's Ball.
