All my favorite porn sites closed down, & the spammers & trolls got ahold of the keywords, ruining it, so it's mostly facebook, ebay or here.
Sometimes google sends me to imdb or wikipedia.....

Badmovies (of course) - This site is really the only place I can go where people (for the most part) share common interests with me, and (again, for the most part) this forum seems very clean and friendly as opposed to most sites, which is what I've always admired about it. Although, it is sad to see that this site is mostly dying and falling apart, with this forum practically being its life support. The owner seems to pay no attention to this site anymore, and other than the forums, the site hasn't been updated in years. Wish it would regain the life it had years ago.

Steam - It's mostly where I hang around to play games, and occasionally chat with a few online "friends" if I'm feeling talkative. I used to make community content for certain games, but I've tried to distance myself from Steam's rather toxic community. Unfortunately, like with just about everything, there are a lot of oddballs out there and you never really know what to expect when you get involved in community-related stuff. I'm currently being stalked by some crazy Japanese mapper who hates my guts for no coherent reason, which is barrels of fun to deal with. So yeah, I don't exactly enjoy most of my time there, which is why I'm hidden most of the time.

Discord - Mainly use it to keep up with certain online gaming communities that I'm involved in as well as some other things. I don't use it as a social media platform, so I don't accept any friend invites. Strictly for business.

YouTube - I mainly go there to... well, watch videos as most people. I upload some stuff, but nothing special or worth watching.

DailyMotion - I sometimes use it to upload Tokusatsu fight scenes because the site is pretty careless about managing its content, and there's far less risk of getting a copyright flag from a robot or algorithm, like YouTube does. I have heard that the site uses malvertising, so I recommend for anyone who goes there to tread carefully. I'm not sure or affected by this because I use my browser's Adblock.

Ultraman Wiki - Another place I try to go to where there may be someone who happens to share a common interest with me. Sadly, the community isn't very friendly. I feel like an ass saying this, but a majority of the community genuinely seems like a bunch of condescending teens/young adults who think of themselves as omniscient and feel the need to prove their knowledge. It makes trying to edit most things impossible, because even if what you changed was right or wasn't that major, it'll get reverted in five seconds with a very vague explanation. And if you confront them about it, you usually get some haughty remarks like "Read the page before you edit" even though nothing in the page incontrovertibly disproves what I was trying to say with my edit.

The site also has no citing for sources or proofreading, and it's often full of conjecture, so a majority of the pages look like they were written by children (an exaggeration obviously, I think a child could potentially do better). And if you mention it, all the admins do is say "Fix it yourself" and do nothing. Like, pal, I don't own the site or have any responsibility to it, do your job.... Either way, the mentality there gets on my nerves. The only reason I go there now is to add pictures and chat with some of the nicer people who happen to be there.

Combine Overwiki - I mostly just go there to read up on certain Half-Life related info. Aside from that, I don't really do much there. The community there is a lot better than Ultraman Wiki's in my opinion, but you can still come across people with the same difficult, brash "know-it-all" mentality.

Pinterest - I used this a very long time ago to create an "Obscure Monsters" board but I deleted it because I didn't like the way I formatted it or something. I was thinking of reviving it.

Start it on Tumbler. You have your own page you can specialize. After 5 years, I got 14,000 followers!
That's just followers. If I let advertisers (which I have been offered) spam on my blog I would be rich. But f**k that. I don't want OLD NAVY selling s**t on my blog.

Maybe a porn site.

I go to Xhamster for porn. That's about it. If I can't find it there, than I can't find it anywhere. I'm not looking for really weird s**t.

www.hornygrannies.com Umm, here and the IMDB.  Wink

I usually refer clients to websites such as www.loot.co.za and www.takealot.com if they're looking for DVDs or Blurays to buy.

Hm... I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I also forgot to mention my most frequently visited shopping sites:

Amazon

eBay

Mandarake (for kaiju figures or tokusatsu DVDs)

Among others.

I don't do a lot of shopping online except Ebay.
But for discount books I shop at Edward R. Hamilton Books. They sell DVDs too!

Spend a lot of time on Youtube, occasionally sell things on eBay (try to stay away from buying cause I know I'll just get a huge case "I want"s and not be able to do it.

When I want something to listen do while doing work, I'll often go to www.accuradio.com and usually put on the all comedy radio station.

I find tvtropes.org with all it's various info on books, tv, movies, etc tends to eat up a lot of time when I start looking around at stuff.

I occasionally go over to imgur.com to look at pics (or post some of my own.)

Sometimes I'll check out the games, artwork, movies and sounds at newgrounds.com

Those are usually the big ones I spend time on.

I stopped going to FB in January last year: it just wasn't the place for me anymore.
