There were also these cupcakes she made once that had bacon in them. I don't like bacon or booze so they just seemed like perfectly good cupcakes being ruined.
1/2 a cup of smooth peanut butter
1/2 a cup of bourbon
1/4 cup of ketchup
3 teaspoons of vinegar, any kind
1/4 cup of grapefruit juice
2 tablespoons( packed) of light brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon each of cumin, black pepper, cayenne pepper and ground ginger
dump it all in a saucepan and simmer for about 30 minutes. taste it, it might need more salt, depending on how sweet the juice is. this should be very thck, so you can " paint " it onto your meat. i use this for all kinds of pork, my bro says it's really good on fish too.
you CAN make it sweeter, f you like sweet glaze, just use OJ and add another tablespoon of sugar.
