. Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos in MONSTER is some of the best acting I have ever seen.

It is a surprise to me how few film characters--favorite film characters--with whom I I.D. More likely to I.D. with a book character or a TV show character, but there are some, and these are them with the categories into which they are divided.
