No it didn't. There are NO computer graphics in 2001.

Sigh. The visual effects team asked themselves what form data. Displayed by an advanced computer. Might take and created animated versions tbast. Were. Rear projected onto the screens.  Their. Predjctio s wereso useful and fu ctional years later when it became. Possible to display computer data in video format the early computer system designers. Used 2001 as. A. Model for creating graphic data displays.  Get it?  The movie bad no actual graphics but largely I ve Ted the formars and types of displays that. Came later.  They we're based on the ideas. Created by the 2001 design team.

No. Spacewar!, a graphical computer game, was created in 1962. And that's not even the 1st example of computer graphics.

Color graphics and 3d graphics were depicted in 2001.  Many early GUI designers credit 2001 with inspiration for their work. The rear projection technique also created the fallacy that video screens project clear images on the viewers face.  TeddyR

I actually liked Jim Kerrey's version.  The movie was awful, but his performance was great!

Sven, I remember that you have a typing problem there with some thingee... do you read some of your posts?  They're indecipherable.  Seriously man, I read you, but perplexed.  I wouldn't take anybody on (particularly regarding minutiae) if unable to type a clear message.  I mean that as friendly insight.

I have to go with underworld. The. 'Kicking gge torpedo '' scene in that one f&f movie kinda replaced 'jumping the shark' for me.
