When you got the radio on and a song plays that is so bad you have to turn the station.

Just before I typed this- this thing came on my radio-yes, I still listen to the radio.

the GREEN BERETS-and I changed the station and f**king QUEEN Mama Mia Rhapsody was on! Another song that freaks me out-so now I'm listening to Dean Martin. Who I like.
Don't get me wrong- I support  our Men In Uniform-
but this song sucks! I have to chnage the station!

As for me . . .
I listen to the local classical music station most of the time, when in the car,
but, on Wednesday's, when the city just east of us, holds its city council meeting, broadcast on the same station, I have to change the station to something else.

I listen to the radio in the car a lot.  If BILLY JOEL comes on, as he so often does, I have to change the station.  Particularly this one:

I can't believe I just looked that one up.   Lookingup

Wildfire.

It's too sad, & it tends to get stuck in my head.  Bluesad

"She ran callin' WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDFIRE!"

See? Just thinking of it is too much.

(Forgive me if you like the song. It's not a bad story per-say, & the man can sing. It's just...I don't know. I like other similar songs. That one didn't click.)

I could not tolerate "Sailing" by Christopher Cross when it was popular. It gave me a headache. Now I kinda like it.

I can see that.  Great record.  I don't need to hear it.  A great song from a great album, it's definitely over-played.  Really, great.  Like the summit of Rock.

Anything SUPREMES.  I like DIANA ROSSI love Girl Groups... except thee girl group: SUPREMES.  Some great records.   Thumbdown  What's on the Long Island station...?

The song "Yesterday" as recorded by THE BEATLES (really it's just PAUL... LENNON later included in a lyric: "All you did was yesterday...")  Of all BEATLES songs, if there's one that is sure to make me change the station...

Here in Germany when you turn on the radio you'll most likely get blasted with 4 Non Blondes' What's Up? For some reason it became an instant classic. It's the unofficial national anthem of Germany since 1993 it seems.

If, for some reason you are not hearing What's Up? you'll be hearing this stupid song (continuously since 1999).
