Mine would have to be MY FAVORITE BRUNETTE (1947).
It's got Lon Chaney. it's got Peter Lorre. And it's real funny. Bob is great in this one. He did good in the CAT AND THE CANARY and the GHOST BREAKERS, but this is my favorite.

I have a soft spot for the Road To... movies, but I'd have to go with The Cat And The Canary.

I haven't seen one in a long time. I think the last one I saw was I'LL TAKE SWEDEN (I have the DVD). Although, I did buy a Bob Hope Christmas DVD a couple years ago. It has clips from his Christmas specials with the U.S.O. and also has the full-length episode of his final Christmas Special (which features some very obvious lip-synching).

I like BING CROSBY movies, so I usually enjoy those ROAD TO movies.  I sometimes get a real laugh out of BOB HOPE's wisecracks...
(Somebody sort-of describing zombies in GHOST BREAKERS: "...shuffling aimlessly, staring straight ahead, dead eyed..."  BOB: "Y'mean like Democrats?")   BounceGiggle

But, I generally don't like BOB HOPE movies.   Bluesad

That goes both ways, my friend. Beyond a certain time in the 1980's, I don't know s**t about certain actors or movie either.

Have you ever seen MY FAVORITE BRUNETTE?
It's fantastic. Lon Chaney plays a Lennie-like moron thug lackey to Peter Lorre, who's a evil knife throwing motherf**ker. Great Movie. Lon and Peter are funnier than Bob!

For me, too many to list. But, if I had to mention one, then I'd mention Casanova's Big Night from 1954. Not so much for Bob Hope, Joan Fontaine, and Audrey Dalton, who star in it, but for the villainous cast that supports them. Though, not all are playing villains this time. The list includes . . .

Basil Rathbone -- Arnold Moss -- John Carradine -- John Hoyt -- Hope Emerson -- Raymond Burr -- Frank Puglia -- Paul Cavanagh -- Henry Brandon -- Douglas Fowley -- Nestor Pavia -- Skelton Knaggs -- an not credited cameo by Vincent Price as the real Casanova -- and Lon Chaney, Jr.

I like that one too! I forgot all about it!

I like most of his movies honestly..but I'd probably have to go with My Favorite Brunette too with The Cat and the Canary and The Ghost Breakers not that far behind. Also I am fond of Sorrowful Jones and  The Princess and the Pirate.

A man after me own heart!  Cheers (Say that with  an Irish accent)

Lon breaks walnuts with his biceps, bends bars, and acts like Lennie from OF MICE AND MEN.

I'll add some more.

His funniest films, or, at least, I think these are his funniest.
Alias Jesse James
Fancy Pants
Monsieur Beaucaire
The Seven Little Foys

The one that intro. me to him and made me a fan for life.
Ghost Breakers w/
Bob Hope -- Paulette Goddard -- Willie Best -- Paul Lukas -- Richard Carlson -- Pedro de Cordoba -- Virginia Brissac -- Paul Fix -- Lloyd Corrigan -- Tom Dugan -- Anthony Quinn (playing twins) -- and Noble Johnson as The Zombie.

And the one that was never to be, but if Bing Crosby had lived longer . . .
