Game Night (2018)

I'm a little reluctant to put this in the "Bad Movies" thread since it had some genuinely funny moments. But Christ this film is squandered potential.
It's a horror comedy about a man and woman that are obsessed with party games going to visit a wealthy relative for Game Night.
The brother of the lead male character sets up a murder mystery game night that ends up going wrong when he's abducted by real kidnappers.
It almost works as a comedy and it got some decent laughs out of me but damn, there were long stretches of total silence in the room when
Dad, Angie and me were watching it.

It's pretty much the definition of a hit and miss movie in my opinion. I really wish we had an "Average Movies" board because this movie isn't good or bad.
It's just mediocre. If you want a funny movie this might do it but I can't promise anything. I guess it may just come down to sense of humor but man, this was
some wasted potential.
