Oh IllinoisIllinois cops charge that Lindsey Lowery was dealing from the garage of a home in Swansea, a village about 10 miles east of St. Louis. The 33-year-old Lowery is facing three felony narcotics counts.
According to investigators, Lowery was allowed to live in the Swansea residence in exchange for meth that she provided to a woman who lived there with her husband and her children. The homeowner, Alison Yates, was charged with letting drugs be sold from the property.
In a post-arrest interview earlier this month, Lowery reportedly admitted that she gave Yates meth to cover her rent bill. As first reported by the Belleville News-Democrat, while speaking with police, Lowery also remarked on the difficulty of peddling America’s favorite illegal stimulant.
“Lowery stated selling methamphetamine is hard work,” an investigator wrote in the search warrant affidavit.
