My 25th reunion is this coming Friday.  Looking forward to it since I lost all sorts of weight since last time.

I lost more than 40 pounds before my 30th reunion. Gained about 35 of it back by my 35th reunion.

I've NEVER owned a cell phone.
Or, if someone was far away, you wrote a letter. How many people on your Facebook page do you actually talk to?
I'm guessing not many.
I don't want to see most of them f**kers anyway.

This was how my high school looked when I was there.

Someone did realise this looks a bit drab and so they repainted it.

I just got an e-mail about my 30th (!) high school reunion, which is being held next month sometime. I ignored it.
I didn't like enough people from high school to want to be bothered.

I can understand that. The only reason I could think of to attend one for me would be to point out to everything how much I didn't like them back then and that seems like a waste of time and effort.

I attended Eisenhower in Lawton, OK.  Found it somewhat ironic.  Graduated from a different school in Oklahoma City.  Haven't received anything about reunions and doubt I would want to attend.  I can be difficult and am not really endeared or on speaking terms with anyone from that time in my life.

High school was relatively fun.  Still talk to a few kids on a semi-regular basis.

Haven't gone to reunions but why bother when I see everyone regularly.

Most of the kids I hung out with in high school are dead or I don't know. I see everybody (it's a small town) but I hang out with none of them. Except Larry. I've known Larry since 1972.
I went to a reunion in 2010. I got out of school 30 years before. I showed up hammered drunk.
I figured I would give them how they remembered me.
Plus 30 years later I was still getting hammered.  Bluesad
Everybody was alien. Except Renee, Delbert, and a couple other local yokels.

Somewhat similar here.  Smaller town from OKC 1.5 mil metro area, Lawton ~100k.  Currently, in Norman.  OU games are killer on Saturday.

On a funny note, Lawton, OK was originally just the town by FT. Sill until a commandant suggested naming it after a Gen. Lawton.

100,000 is NOT similar to Lawton. We have 2 bars. One food store. A party store. 6 cops.
Who sit on there asses most the time-until they find a meth lab (and there are lotsa them out here in the boonies).
