Rules.  Name 2 bad movies that have something in common.  Say which one is worse,  give a reason.

To start it rolling...

"Mars needs women! " vs "Devil girl from mars! "

Mars needs women was worse.  It used a lot or stock footage, had martian costume es that made you laugh, was in washed out color and had a lot of flat acting.

Devil girl from Mars was decently  filmed in black and white,  had a martian costume that made you drool,  a nice set of thighs, high leather boots,   a cool gun,  some better acting,  a solid star and featured a strong woman rather than the usual shrinking violet female lead.  The sexual role reversal was a nice touch.

Ok,  come up with two somewhat similar bad movies,  pick the worse one and... Go!

SAMURAI COP vs. PSYCHO COP

it's really hard to say which of these is the more inept example of film making... at least SAMURAI COP seems to have its tongue somewhere near its cheek, at times. (or at least the actors do, if not the director). PSYCHO COP seems absurdly oblivious to its own failings...so I'll nominate that one as 'worst'!

TEENAGE ZOMBIES vs the WILD WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN
(Both directed by Jerry Warren and starring Katherine Victor.)

TEENAGE ZOMBIES is like falling asleep after a drinking cough syrup.
The WILD ,WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN is like being waterboarded. (Though I gotta say, it was a shock seeing footage from the MOLE PEOPLE in there!)

Jesse James meets frankenstein's daughter vs Billy the kid vs. Dracula.

Both horror meets wild west movies that are more horrible than horror.

I gotta say Billy the kid vs dracula had a tiny edge over Jesse James meets frankenstein's daughter.  John Caradine.  Yes,  a legendary B movie actor but an actor all the same,  and he gave the only entertaining performance in either movie.

Lords of the deep vs endless descent.  Two undersea movies that were the jetsam and flotsam spawned in the wake of the abyss.

The better bad movie here is a no brainer.  Endless descent featured some halfway decent  monsters and decent actors,  including R. Lee Army,  who dies in it.  And we all know any movie that has R. Lee Army in it and kills him gets a free star just for that.

Lords of the deep was dismal and almost an effort at an ET type movie with a silly,  cute,  friendly alien. Sappy and insipid.

THE SPIDER (1958) vs. THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION (1975)

THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION is worse (but is also MUCH more entertaining). At least THE SPIDER attempted to make the spider look somewhat realistic (through Bert I. Gordon's cheesy rear-projection effects). THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION made no such attempt. They just attached some floppy legs to Volkswagons and drove them around. But Alan Hale, Jr. plays the sheriff, so it's a must-see movie.
