This exists ...

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1 Small | Large

I've never heard about this one, and after checking IMDb it seems like The Cinema Snob had Black River Monster covered in 2014.

Anyway, it looks hilarious.

no user reviews on imdb... these days that's quite unusual even for super low budget unknown films

looks funny!

I once read some movies and documentaries were exclusively made for and only sold at gas stations in the 80s and 90s. Mostly local stuff.
Apparently Black River Monster was made to promote a farm (!), and its availability might have been already very limited to local areas back then (in this case: Michigan), never intended for rental stores.

haha, that's brilliant if it's true...

I wouldn't be surprised if HAUNTEDWEEN had a similar backstory.

Info was provided by Bleedingskull.com. Another source explained the movie also works as a promotional video, since it was shot on location, at the Black River Farm and Ranch Summer Horse Camp for Girls in Michigan  Buggedout

Not only was it made in Michigan- it was made in Paw Paw Michigan! I went to Black River Elementary School in the 4th grade!

It was on local TV back in 1986 on WKZO Channel 41 once. That's when I saw it.
I don't remember a lot about it.
