So anyone else out there going to watch this (if you aren't planning on, great for you but I am only asking for people who are interested in the show).

Not finding it as good as I'd hoped, but then again since I love the book it would have to be pretty freaking brilliant to match what I was hoping for. Only seen the first episode so far. Wouldn't say it was bad though either.

I'm a die hard Neil Gaiman fan. Read the book ...30 years ago (damn) Was amused but not overwhelmed by it back then. Oddly, I found myself loving the TV mini series much more.  The last episode dragged on a bit.

Overall, fun and I personally thought it's better than the book.

staunch fan here too. i'd like to see this, but i'm already paying for netflix and hulu. i's love to see american gods too, i LOVE those books!

Saw the first two episodes yesterday. Really liked the first one that set up the main characters and the premise. Second one was heavy plot development, just OK. I'm sure I'll finish it at about two eps./week. Recommended so far.  Thumbup

Looks like it's just on Prime for now. You can use this site to see where something's playing; it usually shows a ton of options but now it's only Prime.
