Aimed at all parties: enough with the personal insults. How ironic, in a thread about evil words.

So could people please not do really offensive things like compare pepersoray to poison gas? That's insulting to any firm of intelligence.

If you can't judge the difference between an insult and a statement you disagree with, you should not be participating in heated discussions. This thread will be locked soon if everyone can't debate politely.

I started this thread because of several TV programs that had stunning and horrifying footage of WWII in Europe.  I had read a wonderful book called IS PARIS BURNING? which was about the end of the Nazi occupation of Paris, plans for withdrawal, partisans intervening in any activities of Nazis, and HITLER's "burning question" when learning his order to destroy the city had been disobeyed by a German officer (who also happened to not be a real Nazi).  Whew.  The incredible evil of that question struck me.  

I can remove this thread since I started it.  I even did an experimental thread and subsequent removal, I'm sure Rev remembers.
